This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a fish culture and hatchery operation in Barishal, Bangladesh. You will lead the entire production lifecycle, from breeding programs and broodstock management to harvesting, with direct responsibility for the facility's performance and team. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and involves significant strategic and budgetary authority. You will oversee all day-to-day activities, including fish rearing, environmental monitoring, and equipment maintenance, while also planning for the long term. You will prepare and execute annual production budgets, present quarterly assessments, and work with the COO on capital and operating budgets. Your decisions will directly impact the efficiency and sustainability of the operation, and you will be the go-to person for resolving unanticipated problems like disease outbreaks or environmental challenges. To succeed, you need at least five years of hands-on experience in fin-fish culture, hatchery, and farming, including three years managing people. A deep understanding of fish husbandry, broodstock management, and breeding production is non-negotiable. You are a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, able to work under pressure and make sound decisions. While not required, experience with budget management, environmental compliance, and data analysis would be a strong plus.
